Basic Sock Knitting covering the cuff, leg, heel flap, heel turn, gusset, foot, toe shaping and Kitchener stitch.  Class meets twice:  March 21 and March 28 from 1:30 to 3:00 pm.  Must enroll for both classes.   Some homework required.

Materials to bring to class:
1 skein of worsted weight yarn, a blunt darning needle, stitch markers, and double-pointed needles in size 5, 6 or 7 (use what is comfortable for you).

Homework to be completed before 1st class:
Using long tail method, cast on 24 stitches, dividing evenly on 3 needles (8 sts per needle).

Join, being careful not to twist.
Work 4 ridges garter stitch as follows: (K 1 rnd, P 1 rnd); rep these two rnds 3 times more.
Knit 2 rounds.

Experience level required: Advanced beginner with knitting in the round experience. Experience with double pointed needles helpful.

COST: $5.00 CASH Payable to instructor at class time.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If there are less than 6 people signed up 3 days prior to class date, the class will be cancelled and you will be notified by email.
