After learning basic brioche, knitters are often intimidated by working it in the round or working it in two colors. In this class, we’ll learn how to take your brioche seamless, how to incorporate two colors in the round, and how to work two colors flat.

Experience needed: experience working brioche flat, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, working in the round.

Materials and homework: With smooth, non-haloed worsted weight yarn and US 7 [4.5 mm] circular needle, please cast on 24 stitches and work about an inch [2.5 cm] in k1, p1 rib, worked flat. On a separate 16” [40 cm] circular needle, please cast on 54 sts and work about an inch [2.5 cm] in k1, p1 rib, worked in the round. Please also bring Approximately 100 yards of smooth, light-colored worsted weight yarn and 50 yards of a complimentary or contrasting color.
