If you haven’t seen Stephanie Lotven, of Tellybean Knits, in-person or virtually, you are in for a treat! She is vivacious and fun, just like the knitwear patterns she designs.
Stephanie began knitting two months before graduating from college, and when she got married and moved to Asia to teach English her yarn and needles went along.
The birth of her first daughter, who was nicknamed “Tellybean,” inspired Stephanie to design knitting patterns for babies, and Tellybean Knits was born. She has since expanded her pattern line to include child and adult patterns, which are playful and focus on wearability, knitability, innovation, and color — lots of color! She aims to make her designs clear, fun, and surprising, so you are always knitting with a giggle.
Stephanie’s first book, Knit Happy with Self-Striping Yarn: Bright, Fun, and Colorful Sweaters and Accessories Made Easy, includes 25 knitting patterns to celebrate the rainbows in your stash!
