Mitered Squares Basics Class with Jill Bigelow Suttell

Mitered Squares are created by casting-on stitches for two sides of the square and making double decreases in the center to create the other two sides. Each square is joined onto the previous one so little to no sewing is involved. Two methods of double decrease, pick up and knit stitches, and combining cast on and picked up stitches will be covered in class.

Class Supplies: At least 1 colors of worsted-weight yarn, Needles in US 7, 8 OR 9 (4.5, 5 OR 5.5mm), Knitting Basics: Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Stitch markers, Tapestry needles (large and small), Tape measure, Small calculator, and crochet hooks of various sizes
