Please join us for an MKG Knit-A-Long session.

Topic: Pick your Pattern and Yarn

We will  knit sweaters that actually fit you!  If you thought you couldn’t knit a sweater, you are wrong.  We will help you at every step along the way.  

When:  Saturday, November 11 from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. 

Location:  Fitchburg Public Library

                  2nd Floor Conference Room

                  5530 Lacy Rd., Fitchburg, WI

Instructor:  Margy Blanchard, Nancy Hilmanowski and Jane Grogan

Description:

Bring the pattern (printed) you want to knit to the meeting.  Do you want a cardigan?  Do you want a pullover?  Do you want top down or bottom-up construction?  Perhaps you have already purchased your yarn.  We can discuss what yarn you should use for your pattern.  Start knitting your swatch to get the correct gauge so your sweater will fit.

Experience level required: basic knitting skills
