Workshop: Textural Brioche with Lesley Anne Robinson

Topic:  

Look at knitting a bit differently by exploring different textures created by brioche techniques! In this class, we will dive into several distinct stitch patterns using one, two, and even three color brioche knitting. Together, we will look at color choices, and cast on a swatch to practice these new stitches. Consider this a special workshop to broaden your brioche horizon!

Skills Needed: Knowledge of brioche stitches knit flat

Supplies: 

• 3 skeins/balls of fingering/sock weight yarn in different tones, scrap yarn is fine (light, medium, and dark; solid or semi-solid yarn is highly recommended)
• 24"/61 cm or longer US 4 or 5 / 3.5 or 3.75mm circular needles (interchangeables are fine)
• An open mind

Homework:  None, but make sure to bring all supplies
