Programming Committee Open House: Behind the Scenes of Guild Programming

When:  Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026 from 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Location: Verona Public Library, 500 Silent Street, Verona, WI

Description:

Have you ever wondered how we bring inspiring knitters, designers, and fiber artists to our guild? You’re invited to join the Programming Committee for an informal Open House/Knit Afternoon! Bring your current project, meet the committee, and learn how we work behind the scenes to plan our monthly programs.

Our committee collaborates to:

  • Brainstorm and research potential speakers and topics
  • Coordinate travel, lodging, and other event logistics
  • Help organize classes and presentations
  • Create engaging programs for our guild members

Whether you're looking for a new way to get involved with the Guild, wondering if the committee might be a good fit for you, or simply curious we'd love to meet you.

There's no commitment—just come knit, ask questions, and see what we're all about.

We hope you'll join us!
