Due to the dedication and foresight of Helen Louise Allen, the University of Wisconsin School of Human Ecology houses one of the foremost textile collections in the country. Its artifacts provide critical material for numerous classes on the Madison campus, attract researchers from around the country, and have been included in major national exhibitions. The Helen Louise Allen Textile Collection (HLATC) is nationally renowned for its ethnographic textiles and fiber art.  Clare Moran will describe the collection and share information on how to view it.
