Class Description: In this class students learn professional garment finishing and assembling techniques. The class is designed for hand knitters at all levels. It is taught in a easy step-by-step format. The goal is to have each student begin to master the skills involved in producing a perfectly finished wearable garment. As an overriding ovjective, the class focus is placed on providing a complete review of planning each component of a garment for a desired finish.
The techniques taught include: several types of seaming, several ways to attach sleeves, stitch pick-up for borders and necklines, making vertical and horizonal buttonholes and weaving in yarn.
