2024 Knit-In

May 31st - June 1st,  2024

Alliant Energy Center, Madison, WI


The Madison Knitters’ Guild, one of the oldest and largest knitting guilds in North America, has been operating without interruption since 1981, and has a membership of 500+ knitters, crocheters, spinners, and weavers. We are in the midst of planning the next Knit-In, our seminal annual event which draws fiber enthusiasts from throughout Wisconsin and beyond.


We would love for you to join us as one of our market vendors!


Knit-In Vendor Schedule:


     Friday, May 31:          9:00 am - 4:30 pm - Move In 

    6:00 pm - 9:00 pm - Market is open for business!


     Saturday, June 1:       10:00 am - 6:00 pm  Market is open for business!


     Sunday, June 2:         10:00 am - 3:00 pm  Tear down



The Alliant Energy Center complex offers many advantages for vendors:

  • A multi-building event complex with ample parking and on-site catering
  • Access at rear of building close to Market hall for easy unloading and loading
  • A central Madison location with easy highway access
  • Discounted lodging at the adjacent Clarion Suites, which provides free breakfast, a climate-controlled walkway to the venue, and airport shuttle
  • A large and attractive Market hall, with free public Wi-Fi, that will be locked and secure outside Market hours at night

Vendor Booth Options:

  • Single Booth includes one skirted table, two chairs, a fabric back panel and two side draperies.               
    Size and Cost: 8’ x 10’ $175.00
  • Double Booth includes two skirted tables, four chairs, a fabric back panel and two side draperies.   
    Size and Cost: 8’ x 20’  $350.00         
  • All vendors will be given the option to add a boxed lunch, 1 for a single and 2 for a double, for no additional charge. Additional boxed lunches can be purchased for $15.00/each   

If you are interested in being a 2024 Knit-In Market vendor, please complete the Vendor Application by November 15, 2023.  

NOTE: One door prize is required from each vendor and will be collected at Move-in.

Applications received after November 15 will be placed on a waiting list and will not be part of the initial selection process. The selected vendors will receive a confirmation letter, vendor acceptance form, and an invoice with a payment due date. Once all booth spaces have been confirmed, we will contact all remaining applicants of their status.

Sponsorship Opportunities:

Sponsorship is a great way to boost attendance at your booth or give your business a presence at the Knit-In, even if you are unable to participate in person. Besides having your logo prominently displayed at the event(s) you sponsor, your logo will also be included on the MKG Knit-In web page and in social media posts. Each sponsorship costs $150.00.

  • Opening Night Cocktail Party! – Friday evening (3 sponsor maximum)
  • Morning Coffee – Saturday (3 sponsor maximum)
  • Saturday event  (3 sponsor maximum)
